Parental alienation, also known as obstruction of family bonds, is a global epidemic. Children impacted by this form of child abuse suffer from depression, social, emotional, and cognitive impairments. The damage caused by parental alienation often remains throughout adulthood causing its victims difficulties in all areas of life, making parental alienation one of the largest and most urgent health crisis of society.

Real strategies and solutions for professionals (teachers, school administrators, counselors, social workers, physicians, attorneys, judges, law enforcement and more) who deal directly with families fighting this pathogen will be presented. As parental alienation affects our entire society, the general public is welcome to attend as well, especially targeted family members and young adult survivors of parental alienation. The symposium will promote working relationships among educators, behavioral health providers, protective services, social services, law enforcement, juvenile justice professionals and parents.
